BIDDEFORD — Courtney Deane, D.O., the daughter of Robert and Mary Beth Deane of Jay, a member of the graduating class of 2012 at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, was awarded the degree of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at commencement ceremonies held on May 19.
Deane will be interning at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, N.Y., prior to residency in neuromusculoskeletal medicine/osteopathic manipulative medicine.
BEVERLY, MASS. — Patricia Defosse has been named to the Endicott dean’s list for spring 2012. Defosse is the daughter of Mary T. Rice of Lewiston. She is a junior majoring in business administration.
BIDDEFORD/PORTLAND — Kathleen Delehanty Labbe, daughter of Phillip and Doreen Labbe of Biddeford, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2012 spring semester at the University of New England.
A 2010 graduate of Biddeford High School, Labbe is majoring in political science with a concentration in pre-law.
WORCESTER, MASS. — Christine M. Renaud, a third-year student at the College of the Holy Cross, has been named to the dean’s list for the second semester of the 2011-12 academic year.
She is the daughter of Norm and Rita Renaud of Lisbon Falls. She double majors in psychology and sociology.
