- Recently, at the Maine Hospital Association annual summer session, Bruce O’Donnell, center, chief Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, was awarded the CRNA of the Year from the Maine Chapter of CRNAs. O’Donnell has been with CMMC for more than 30 years and has been instrumental in providing student CRNAs a program and clinical placement to be employed as they attend school. This was the first time the CRNA discipline was part of the event and O’Donnell was the first honoree chosen from more than 350 CRNAs in the state. Laird Covey, left, and Peter Chalke, right, joined in honoring O’Donnell.
