As a resident of Senate District 17 and the president of Western Maine Labor Council, I am proud to support Colleen Quint for state Senate.
Quint is a strong candidate who listens to people and who understands the needs of working families. The unrelenting attacks on Maine workers from the Republicans in Augusta must stop. From cutting off Workers Compensation benefits to limiting the very right to unionize, the working men and woman here in Maine are being sacrificed in the name of corporate profits.
Quint understands that to strengthen Maine’s economy, the middle class must be strengthened.
She knows that people who work hard for a living should be able to do more than just get by, and that retired workers should be able to count on their pensions to see them through.
Colleen Quint will stand up for the working men and women of Maine.
