The federal government, as well as the slim party divide in the Maine House, has been stricken by a severe case of partisan bickering and inaction.
The hold the majority party has in the state House and the split party federal Congress are equated with inaction and bitterness toward members of the other party. That is why Olympia Snowe, one of Maine’s long-time senators, decided to not seek re-election.
We need a candidate to go to Augusta who will make sure that type of deadlock does not happen in Maine. We have seen what that does on Capital Hill. Are Mainers going to let it happen here?
That is why I am supporting Lisa Keim for House District 93. She will go to Augusta and work with both sides of the aisle to get much-needed legislation passed to help the people of her district and Maine.
Let’s get Maine working again.
