WESTBROOK — The Manufacturers Association of Maine (MAMe) awarded 25 scholarship totaling $11,750 to students who will attend Maine colleges this fall. Areas of study include precision machining technology, marine systems engineering, integrated manufacturing technology and mechanical engineering. All students received $250, $500 or $750 awards.
Central Maine Community College: James Pray and Matthew Langlin, precision machining.
Maine Maritime Academy: Keenan M. Eaton, marine systems engineering; and Tyler Easler, power engineering.
Southern Maine Community College: David S. Forte, Jillian Doody, Nathan McKeown, David Lambert, Steve Burnell and Heath Strange, integrated machining technology; James Plante, IMT and business.
University of Maine Orono: Ryan Nadeau, Jordon M. Cyr, Arno C. Wirta, Eric Laplante, Ronald Ho, Michael W. Brown, David R. Farrington, Riley Mattor and William R. Long II, mechanical engineering.
University of Southern Maine: Robert Edward Gatto, precision manufacturing engineering.
