This is in response to a letter from Maryann Larson, printed Sept. 20. She referenced the Republican candidate but gave no name.
She is the present Republican who won the last election. She is a small business owner, wife and mother of four. She is a Cancer Buddy volunteer, New Gloucester Budget Committee member, Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine member, member of SAM’s Pickering Commission to reduce and clarify Maine’s hunting laws.
She is the legislative representative for New Gloucester, Durham and part of Lisbon. She is a member of the Joint Standing Committee on Inland Fisheries and Wildlife; supports and promotes organ donor awareness; obtained unanimous support for the bill creating the New Gloucester Water District; supported measures aimed at pension reform, regulatory reform, welfare reform, tax reform and health insurance reform; chosen for state Legislative Leaders Foundation.
Her name is Ellie Espling, and she has my vote on Nov. 6.
