STONEHAM — The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861-1865 Hannah F. Richardson Tent 19 will meet at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the home of Marilyn Jones in Norway.
Department president Elsie Bonney and Department junior vice-president Vicky Myers were guests at the Sept. 26 meeting.
Elaine Lagueux, Cayla Heath and Sylvia Grover acted as officers pro tem in the absence of Deanna Merchant, Wanda Ryerson and Dayle Burnell.
The mystery prize went to Sylvia Grover.
Guest speaker Lou Ureneck spoke about his recent book, “Cabin,” the story of two brothers, a dream and five acres in Maine. He was accompanied by his wife and son.
After the program, a birthday cake was presented to Marjorie Niban.
