PARIS — Local republican candidates will be attending a meet and greet Sunday, Oct. 21 at the King’s Hill Inn. The public is invited to meet and discuss the issues.
In attendance will be Tim Turner, Jim Hamper and Steve Merrill, along with special guest Rick Bennett, former republican candidate for the U.S. Senate.
Turner is running for State Representative District 94, which consists of Buckfield, Hartford, Paris and Sumner. Hamper is running for Maine Senate District 13, made up of Paris, Oxford, Fryeburg, Bridgton, Harrison, Otisfield, Naples, Denmark, Brownfield, Sebago and Baldwin. Merrill is a member of the Oxford County Commission running for re-election in District 1, which consists of Bethel, Brownfield, Denmark, Fryeburg, Hanover, Hiram, Lovell Norway, Porter, Stow, Sweden, Waterford, Batchelder’s Grant, and Mason Township.
Kevin Raye, candidate for U.S. Congress and Charlie Summers, candidate for U.S. Senate, may also be in attendance. Sunday’s event is at the King’s Hill Inn, 56 King Hill Road, Paris from 3-7 p.m. Light refreshments will be available. The event is being hosted by Janice and Glenn Davis and the Oxford County Republicans.
