AUBURN — Clara M. Morris, 96, of Greene, passed away Monday, Oct. 8, at the Androscoggin Hospice House.

She was born July 30, 1916, in Lewiston, the daughter of James A. and Emily E. (Towers) Veinott. Clara was a homemaker and LPN. Over the years, she lived in Leeds, Canaan and Greene. Clara enjoyed going out to eat with her family, shopping and loved her purses.

Clara is survived by three daughters, Laura Morris of Turner, Sonia Plourde of Lewiston and Rhonda Robinson of Fairfield; three sons, Monte “JR” Wing of Lewiston, Ronald Morris of Livermore Falls and Merton “Chub” Morris of New Sharon; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Nelson; two sons, Richard Wing Sr. and Kenneth Clifford Morris; and two brothers, Edward Veinott Sr. and Coleman Ridlon.
