I am writing in support of state Sen. John Patrick of Rumford. He is a maintenance worker at the local paper mill. He knows the struggles working families like mine have — taking care of aging parents, helping children with the high cost of education and the day-to-day grind of living the American dream.
During the past two years, he has fought for severely injured workers who will be abandoned when their need is greatest, the unemployed (whose vacation pay that they earned will be taken), and he fought to prevent elders from being denied drug coverage so the elderly won’t have to choose between food and medication.
Those are just a few of the issues that he cares about. John Patrick cares about the state and the people of Maine, so I will be voting to re-elect John Patrick.
