An afghan, comprised of striking fall foliage colors and created by Sherryl Couturier, is one of the raffle prizes at the New Gloucester Democratic Committee’s community fair booth. The Democratic Committee will continue its tradition of free pumpkin decorating for kids at the New Gloucester Community Fair on Saturday, Oct. 20. Decorations and donated pumpkins will be provided while supplies last, and booth workers will be available to assist children with decorating, starting at 10 a.m. Adults are invited to enjoy complimentary refreshments and conversation. Raffle tickets for great prizes will be sold. The fairgrounds are 1/2 mile down Bald Hill Road from the blinking light on Route 100.
