I support Nichole Stevens, who is running for the Legislature to represent New Gloucester, Durham and part of Lisbon.
The past two years have been extremely partisan in Augusta. Voters need to support people who will defend the rights of all of the citizens of Maine, including those who face poverty, those who need work, children who need the support of public education and those who need support for health care.
The public also needs someone who will protect Maine’s most important asset — the environment.
Nichole is an intelligent and aware young woman who is very capable of making decisions that will support all of Maine’s citizens, and she will work across the aisle.
She deserves the public’s votes.
