Wayne Werts will make a great representative for House District 70 (southern parts of Auburn and Lewiston).

Having made his career as an Auburn firefighter and paramedic, including nine years as chief of the Auburn Fire Department, he knows something about serving the people of this community.

In the last few months he has walked the district, introducing himself to people and listening to their concerns. He learns by listening to people. Above all, he doesn’t approach problems with slogans; instead, he always looks for the evidence about what the problem is and how any proposed solution would really help.

Isn’t that what is needed in Augusta?
