GREENE — Conrad and Judy Chateauvert of Greene recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at their home in Greene. Party hosts were children of the couple, Laurie Ryan, Glenn Chateauvert and Stacey Murdock.
A wishing well was featured for cards and gifts and an anniversary cake was served.
Mr. Chateauvert and the former Judy Wood were married on Aug. 25, 1962. Their children are Glenn and Dawn Chateauvert, Laurie Ryan and Stacey and Todd Murdock. Their grandchildren are Glenn Rolfe and Meghan Rolfe of Augusta, Hayley and Jerromey George of Monmouth, Tabatha Murdock, Nolan Murdock and Hannah Murdock of Greene and Owen Chateauvert of Greene. Their great-grandchildren are Ruby and Ramona Rolfe and Aurora George.
Mrs. Chateauvert owned and operated a day care for 38 years.
Mr. Chateauvert was a construction worker, until he was forced to retire due to health issues.
Original wedding attendant present was Julia Shnur, maid of honor.
