WINTHROP — The Winthrop Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce is seeking participants for the 28th annual Holiday Parade in Winthrop on Saturday, Dec. 1. The parade will begin at 3:30 p.m., with participants lining up at the top of Main Street at 2:30. The storm date will be Dec. 2.
Classic cars, dance troupes, floats, marching bands, music groups, scout troops and individuals interested in being costumed characters are all needed.
In addition, musical groups and singers are being sought to perform holiday tunes during the hour prior to the start of the parade.
