Extensionists to work on project
INDUSTRY — The Industry Extension will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at Shorey Chapel. The program will be the Rotary Christmas project and there will be a red, white and blue theme. Everyone is invited. For more information, contact Barbara Titcomb at 778-6780.
Church plans community luncheon
FARMINGTON — Old South First Congregational Church will serve its monthly free community luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10. The menu includes turkey fricassee, mashed potatoes, peas and pumpkin pie.
For delivery in the Farmington area, call 778-0424 during the week or 778-4438 the morning of the luncheon.
Annual harvest supper at church
LIVERMORE FALLS — Eaton Memorial United Methodist Church will hold the annual harvest supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the church, corner of Church and Knapp streets.
The menu includes roast pork, potatoes, vegetables and homemade pies. Adults meal will be $8 and under 12, $4.
The meal was previously scheduled for Nov. 10.
Country music returns to Salem
SALEM — A+E’s Hill Country Music will return to the Salem Community Building at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11. Refreshments will be on sale and a donation box will be at the door. The event is sponsored by the Salem Pine Tree Club.
Annual hunters breakfast announced
SALEM — The annual hunters baked bean supper will be held at the Salem Community Building from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10.
The supper includes hot dogs, brown bread, homemade baked beans, salads, pickles and pies. The event funds the Children’s Christmas Tree. It is sponsored by the Salem Pine Tree Club.
