WEST PARIS — Marguerite O. Pulkkinen, 91, of Hartford, died peacefully Saturday, Nov. 3, at Ledgeview Living Center, with her family at her side.

She was born in Hartford, Nov. 15, 1920, a daughter of Frank and Helen (Keene) Bragg and received her education in local schools, graduating from Canton High School. On Feb. 25, 1955, she married Antti A. Pulkkinen in Hartford. Mrs. Pulkkinen enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and taking care of her harvest from the garden.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Antti of Hartford; her daughters, Judy Farrington and her husband, Maynard, of Jay and Linda Gammon of Canton; grandchildren, Scott Farrington and his wife, Jennifer, of Jay, Melanie Farrington of Arlington, Va., Randall Gammon of Canton, Steve Gammon and his wife, Janice, of Hebron and Elaine Ferland of Canton; great-grandchildren, Devyn and Cody Gammon, Alex and Lauren Ferland and Megan Chase; sisters, Beulah Brown of Hartford and Iva Graves and her husband, “Butch,” of Temple; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Vivian Hall; brothers, Clifford and Walter; and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Bragg.
