AUBURN — Fire and police personnel worked to rescue the driver of a vehicle that went off the side of Washington Street and down an embankment Thursday morning.
Crews used ropes and ladders to get the patient out of the truck and up a 20-foot hill along the southbound lane.
The lone occupant was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
