FARMINGTON — Police investigated an unattended death Sunday in an apartment at 103 Silver Maple Lane.

Marilyn Rider, 52, was reported unresponsive about 10:08 a.m., Farmington Sgt. Edward Hastings said.

Rider resided in an apartment with her boyfriend, Roy Gordon, 42, and her 10-year old child, he said.

Police spent the day trying to figure out what happened to her in the last 24 hours, Hastings said.

Farmington police are being assisted in the investigation by the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Maine State Police.

NorthStar ambulance also responded to the call.
