Craft fair today in Durham
DURHAM — A Christmas craft fair selling Kenyan-made goods will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at The Durham Friends Meetinghouse, 532 Quaker Meetinghouse Road (Durham Road, on the corner of Route 125).
Items will include handbags, scarves, woven and wooden bowls, carved animals, nativity, soapstones and jewelry. A luncheon will also be available.
Proceeds benefit the Kakamega Orphans Project.

Events at Sumner church
SUMNER — Pastor Howard MacMullen would like to invite the public to share in special events at the Congregational Church of East Sumner.
On Nov. 21 there will be a Thanksgiving Eve service at 7 p.m., preceded at 6 p.m. by a soup/salad supper.
On Dec. 1 the church will have a raffle table and share in the holiday fun at the craft fair at the Buckfield Jr./Sr. High School from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The annual Living Nativity will take place in the church yard on Dec. 15 at 6 p.m. with cookies and cocoa afterwards in the vestry.
The Dec. 24 Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be held at 7 p.m. On Dec. 30, the church will host Kathy Saarinen, pastor of the Buckfield Community Church, as guest speaker.
