- On Sept. 15, Fryeburg Academy inducted nine new members into its Hall of Excellence. The Class of 2012 is the third group enshrined in the hall that was formed in 2009 and inducted its first class in 2010. This year’s inductees are, from left, Steve Cote ’85, Alison Hale ’71, John H. Atwood, Celestine Perkins Harnden ’46, George Weston ’60 (on behalf of his father, John F. Weston ’27), John S. Weston ’93, Beverly Osgood Duthie ’53, Shelly Osgood Walker ’82 and Beth Grover Jones ’66.
