- FairPoint Communications workers redirect wires Monday at the Gingerbread House on Main Street in Norway to prepare for excavation of a new driveway. Members of the Friends of the Gingerbread House say they are wrapping up winterizing the historic building, including covering windows with plywood. They have also constructed a signboard, foreground, for notices. Fundraising for the restoration of the 19th century house will continue through the winter.
