1934-2012

CANTON — Pamela K. Nemethy, 78, of Auburn Road, Peru, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, at Victorian Villa, with loving family at her side.

She was born in Mallow County Cork, Ireland, on March 21, 1934, a daughter of Patrick and Margaret (O’Driscoll) O’Regan. Pamela loved cooking, knitting, and planting her flower garden.

She was an active member of the Hartford Community Church.

Surviving are her children, Edward Nemethy and wife, Nancy of Peru, Celestia Lebrun of Buckfield, Luke Nemethy and wife, Linda of Hartford, Jackie Jasud of Hartford and Elizabeth Boisvert and husband, Don of Mechanic Falls; a brother, John O’Regan and wife, Joan of Ireland; three sisters, Yvonne Hartnett and husband, Andrew of Ireland, Celeste Hartnett of Ireland and Jenny Colbert and husband, George of New York; 14 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers, Dennis, Danny and Buddy O’Regan; a sister, Philomena Wright: son-in-law, James Jasud Sr.; and a grandson, Christopher Jasud.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Victorian Villa for the wonderful care given to Pamela.
