RANGELEY — The Annual Lighting of the Giving Tree will be on Saturday, Nov. 24, at 6 p.m. at the Christmas tree next to the Chamber of Commerce Building near the entrance to Town Park. There will be live music, Christmas Carols and surprise guests. Bring a small flashlight, so that you can read and sing along.

There will be a reception immediately following the lighting, at the Congregational Church Barn, on the corner of Pleasant and High streets.

To make a donation of warm clothing, toys, books, etc. for the children, bring them unwrapped to the tree and there will be donation boxes available. The group is also collecting $25 IGA gift cards from any who would like to help bring cheer to community seniors this year.

Contributions may also be sent to Giving Tree of Rangeley, PO Box 222, Rangeley, ME 04970, or drop off at the Chamber of Commerce and the Camden Bank in Rangeley during the giving season.
