- The Winthrop Area Handbell Ringers will perform holiday music at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the Winthrop United Methodist Church. The handbell group is excited to provide holiday cheer to the community through this special performance and to raise much needed funds for Keep Winthrop Warm. Donations will be accepted at the door and checks may be made out to KV United Way with KWW in the memo line. For more information call 377-8275.
