GREENE — Joan C. Williamson, 57, of Greene, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, at her home.

She was born in Lewiston, Nov. 1, 1955, daughter of Real and Laure Tanguay Perreault. She was educated in Lewiston schools and raised two children whom she supported and counseled.

Joan enjoyed raising AKC English Springer spaniels and caring for her cats. She was a very charitable person who aided many charities and animal shelters.

She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Williamson of Wales; a son Jesse Williamson of Auburn; her parents of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Jared, Jonathan, Jacob and Noah Williamson; and a sister Tina Sullivan and husband, Anthony, of Newcastle.
