Promising newcomers: Seniors — Tyler Goyette (6-0 guard), Jeff Pepin (6-1 forward); Juniors — Keenan Stockdale (6-1 guard/forward), Jonah Williams (6-1 guard/forward); Sophomore — Jared Eastman (5-9 guard).
Outlook: Although there will be an all-new starting five, first-year coach Reed is optimistic. Buckfield lacks size but should compensate with athleticism. Pierce, Rowe and Madore saw minutes in the 2011-12 playoffs. Reed expects that his team’s conditioning and unselfishness will pay off as the season progresses.
