Promising newcomers: Juniors — Alex Curtis (6-2 forward), Joe Menice (5-6 guard), Nick Tozier (6-4 forward).
Outlook: After two playoff appearances, Monmouth dipped back to the lower tier of the MVC in 2011-12. The Mustangs should rebound this season with most of their roster returning. McFarren, Houston and Smith provide experience and size. Goff is a third-year varsity player and could emerge as one of the top players in the MVC.
