Multi-media Christmas program

Caroling and candlelight service
WATERFORD — Rev. Doretta Colburn invites church and community members to meet at the North Waterford Congregational Church Vestry at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, to go Christmas caroling at the homes of shut-ins and elderly in the North Waterford and Stoneham area. All are welcome to join in this yearly holiday tradition.
The North Waterford Church is on the Five Kezars Road, off Routes 35 and 37, opposite Melby’s Market.
Following the caroling, refreshments will be served at the home of Doretta and Ted Colburn at 4 p.m. at Beech Hill Farm and Bison Ranch, 630 Valley Road, North Waterford. Even if you are not able to attend the Christmas caroling, everyone is invited to join the Colburns at their home.
All members of the local community are invited to attend a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, at the North Waterford Church, to celebrate the Christmas story and enjoy traditional Christmas music. The service will be conducted by Rev. Doretta Colburn.
Sunday church services are being held at the church through the winter months. Choir practice is held at 9 a.m. each Sunday.
United Parish candlelight service
HARRISON — United Parish Congregational Church of Harrison and North Bridgton will hold a Family Christmas Eve Candlelight service featuring special music, readings and carols at 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, at the Community Room on High Street next to the Harrison fire station.
Community Christmas dinner
PARIS — A community Christmas dinner will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, at the First Congregational Church, East Main Street, across from the Fox School.
There is no charge. Take out meals are available. The church is wheelchair accessible. Everyone is welcome. For more information, call 674-5185.
New Year’s dance Dec. 31
PARIS — A New Year’s dance will be held from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, at American Legion Hall, Church Street.
Music will be provided by the Jones Dance Band. The cost is $10.
