Weary Club meets Dec. 15
NORWAY — The Weary Club will meet for coffee and Christmas treats from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at 385 Main St. All visitors are welcome.
‘The Messenger’ is sermon title
PARIS — The guest speaker for Dec. 16 at the First Universal Church on Pine Street is Anita White. White’s sermon for the 10 a.m. service is titled “The Messenger.”
Music is under the direction of Donna Hurd and Sunday School is under the direction of Renee Wales. Coffee and fellowship will follow the worship service and all are welcome. Childcare is available and the church is wheelchair accessible.
West Paris food pantry
WEST PARIS — The food pantry will be open from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at West Paris Baptist Church, 15 Church St. The pantry is open the first and third Tuesday of each month.
Monthly free supper is Dec. 21
NORWAY — Second Congregational Church will host its monthly free supper on Friday, Dec. 21, from 5 to 6 p.m. On the menu is a baked ham dinner, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, veggies and desserts by Bruce.

Christmas Eve at Free Baptist Church
OTISFIELD — Rev. Genise Stern announces the Christmas Eve service at East Otisfield Free Baptist Church will be held at 7 p.m. The church is at 231 Rayville Road, off Route 121.
Music will be provided by an expanded choir, directed by Priscilla Delehanty.
The church now has cushions in the pews. Come test them out. Deacons holding a basket will collect a free-will offering as people leave after the service. This money will be used to help area people in need.
Two services at Second Congre.
NORWAY — Second Congregational Church will share the excitement of Christmas Eve at two different services at the church at 205 Main St. The first service, held at 6 p.m., is a family service of lessons and carols as the final Advent candle is lighted.
The late service has been moved to 11 p.m. Attendees will celebrate the candlelight service with scripture and song.
All are welcome to join in celebrating the holiest of nights in a beautiful, stained glass sanctuary decorated for the season with greens and poinsettias. Visit www.seconch.com or call the church at 743-2290 for information.
