LEWISTON — Leo Steve Richard, 87, of Leeds, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 18, at Central Maine Medical Center.
Leo was born in Madrid, Oct. 8, 1925, a son of the late Steve and Rose (Fournier) Richard.
Leo was an avid hunter, woodsman and craftsman; he loved the outdoors and operated Richard’s Tree Service for more than 30 years.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Pacific during World War II.
Leo will be missed by his family and the many friends he has made.
Leo is survived by daughters, Ann Richard and Lianne Bedard; grandchildren, Joseph Bedard III and Cassidy Bedard; siblings, Lena Howard, Albert Richard, Merle Richards, Etney Campbell and Rita Larochelle; and many nieces and nephews.
Leo was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Gus Richard; and his sister, Marie Taylor.
