LEWISTON — Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Thomas of Lewiston and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Tarr of Pittston, are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Kate-Lynn Thomas and Samuel Tarr.

Ms. Thomas is a 2009 graduate of Thomas College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and is a kindergarten teacher at Montello Elementary School in Lewiston.

Mr. Tarr is a 2009 graduate of Thomas College with a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems and a master’s degree in business management. He is employed as lab manager in the Information Technology Department at Bowdoin College in Brunswick.

The wedding is planned for July 2013.
