Speaker explores memory, emotion
NORWAY — The First Unitarian Universalist Church of Norway will host Brigid Whitney-Gallagher as a guest speaker at the 11 a.m. service on Sunday, Jan. 27.
Whitney-Gallagher is a local writer and poet. In addition to writing, she works with children who have disabilities. She was born and raised in the Oxford Hills and now lives in South Paris with her young son.
Whitney-Gallagher will speak on “The Things We Hold.” Using original writing, she will explore memory, emotion and the unconscious beliefs that shape our lives. The church is at 479 Main St. Childcare is provided and social hour follows the service.
Men’s chorus concert Jan. 30
WEST PARIS — Eleven members of the men’s chorus from Word of Life will give a concert at the West Paris Baptist Church on Church Street at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30. The concert is free , but a love offering will be taken. All are invited.
