LEWISTON — Announcement is made of the engagement of Doreen Nancy “Dee” Beck and Sherry Lynn Poland, both of Lewiston.

Ms. Beck is the daughter of Virginia Beck of Lewiston. She is a graduate of Lewiston High School and the University of Maine in Lewiston-Auburn. She is a stay-at-home mom to their sons.

Ms. Poland is a graduate of Telstar Regional High School in Bethel, North Western Connecticut Community College, the University of Southern Maine and Bangor Theological Seminary.

The wedding is planned for July 20.
