READFIELD — Rachel Ann Cote of Readfield went peacefully at home to be with our Lord and her parents in Heaven on Sunday, Jan. 20.
She was born in Lewiston, Feb. 28, 1954, the daughter of Leo and Mary Jane (Dulac) Cote.
Rachel grew up in Auburn. She enjoyed attending the Social Learning Center in Lewiston at an early age and later to the Cohen Adult Center in Hallowell and Goodwill in Augusta, where Rachel made life-long friends. Rachel was sweet spirited, who loved to laugh and make others laugh as well.
She looked forward to attending summer camps with her friends and counselors at Camp Mechuwana and Pine Tree Camp. Rachel loved to bowl, color, and dine out with her family and friends.
One of her greatest joys was attending Hope Baptist Church in Manchester and sitting beside her soul mate, Barbara Michaud. Rachel was thrilled spending time with her brother, Eddie and his wife, Kathy.
She is survived by a brother, Edward Cote and his wife, Kathy, of Minot; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Cote of Auburn; a sister, Vivian Renner and her husband, Raymond, of Readfield; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Rachel was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Mary Jane Cote; her brother, Normand Cote; and a nephew, David Renner.
Rachel was predeceased by few, missed by many and loved by all.
Condolences, memories and photos may be shared with the family at www.khrfuneralhomes.com.
