FARMINGTON — Franklin County Adult Basic Education will offer a variety of favorite and new classes beginning Feb. 25.
Catalogs with listings of the courses are available at local businesses, including grocery stores, town offices, the Mt. Blue Regional School District’s Adult Basic Education office and schools.
Due to the cost of doing business, Adult Basic Education will no longer mail catalogs to households but will make them available through these outlets.
Favorites such as art, painting, music, dancing and craft classes are available for sign-up through the catalog, by phone at 778-3460 or online at rsd9.maineadulted.org.
New offerings include classes through Women, Work and Community, online classes through Ed2Go, technology and related skills. Attendees can learn French or Spanish, explore College Transitions or College Ready courses, start and complete a GED, learn to prepare dough and pastries, and obtain hunter safety and NRA basic pistol training.
