- Despite blizzard warnings and slippery road conditions, business at the Oxford Casino was consistent Friday at mid-day, with more than 100 visitors — mostly from Maine — inside trying their hand at the games as a snowsweeper kicks up a cloud of snow. On Route 26, traffic was heavy with motorists, most with Massachusetts license plates, heading west toward the ski areas.
