SUMNER — The Nezinscot Valley Music Boosters is bringing Peruvian musicians to the Hartford-Sumner Elementary School next month.
Inkas Wasi will present a free evening of music at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 8, in the gymnasium at the school. It’s open to the public.
The event will be the culmination of this year’s schoolwide integrated theme, South American Sojourn, said Meghan Andrews-Wright, the school’s music director.
Also that evening, visitors can explore student displays of South American wildlife during an open house from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., visit the Scholastic Book Fair in the library from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and bring a dish to share at the potluck dinner from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
