MEXICO — Mexico High School Class of 1949 will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at Dick’s Restaurant. Members and friends are welcome.
World Day of Prayer
RUMFORD — This year’s World Day of Prayer will take place at 3 p.m. Friday, March 1, at St. Athanasius and St. John’s Church, Parish of the Holy Saviour.
The theme is “I was a stranger and you welcomed me.”
World Day of Prayer is a worldwide ecumenical movement of Christian women of many traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer and action each year on the first Friday of March.
Each year a different country serves as the writer. This year’s service was written by the women of the WDP France committee.
