RUMFORD — Rumford Public Library has planned the following events:
A free couponing class from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, in the public room.
A free e-book workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, in the public room. Facilitators will be Luke Sorensen and Peggy Malley.
A free couponing class from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 7, in the public room.
A free e-book workshop at the Ludden Memorial Library in Dixfield from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, March 7. Facilitators will be Peggy Malley and Luke Sorensen.
Community Networking
RUMFORD — The next Community Networking Meeting sponsored by the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 26, at noon at the Rumford Public Library community room. Attendees should bring a lunch.
Jennifer Thibodeau, outreach and marketing coordinator for Family Planning Association of Maine, will speak about the recent changes in their organization. On Feb. 1, Family Planning Association of Maine assumed management of four health centers formerly operated by WMCA Health Services.
Other agenda items include community updates from the Healthy Communities as well as from other River Valley organizations.

World Day of Prayer event
BETHEL — The annual World Day of Prayer Service will be hosted by the women of the West Parish Congregational Church, 32 Church St., at 1 p.m. Friday, March 1.
This year’s ecumenical service was prepared by the women of France, and two women from each local church are needed to participate. Women of the area are invited to attend. Refreshments will be available following the service.

Library plans ‘Terrific Tuesdays’
MEXICO — Beginning on Tuesday, March 5 at 10 a.m., the Mexico Public Library will host a new monthly program for preschoolers, ages 2-5.
This will take place on the first Tuesday morning of each month during the school year, making them “Terrific Tuesdays.” The will include read-aloud stories, snacks, games and craft projects, usually centering around an upcoming holiday. March’s “Terrific Tuesday” will focus on activities for Dr. Seuss’ Birthday.

Fishing sale, swap meet
RUMFORD — The inaugural GRCC Fishing Swap Meet and Sale Event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the GRCC and Senior Citizen Center room, 50 Congress St.
Tables are available to rent for $15.
To swap gear or bring in equipment to sell at the meet, the registration fee is $5. General admission to the swap is $3.
There will be door prizes and concessions.
