Trail Blazers Club meeting
MEXICO — The Mexico Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, downstairs at the Mexico Town Hall. There will be nominations and an election of officers.

Free class on couponing

Seniors trip to ‘Stars on Ice’
RUMFORD — Rumford Senior Center members have planned a trip on Sunday, March 10, to see the Stars on Ice show at the Cumberland Civic Center, Portland.
This will be Kurt Browning’s final U.S. tour. Dorothy Hamill will be returning and joined by Olympic medalist Ekaterina Gordeeva, Ilia Kulik and Joannie Rochette.
The show starts at 4 p.m., with the bus leaving the Senior Center at 1:30. The cost is $57. Participants will be going to Cole Farms restaurant for dinner. Dinner will be each person’s responsibility.
Dr. Seuss’ birthday events
DIXFIELD — Ludden Library will celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday every Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. for the month of March.
Activities will include reading Dr. Seuss books, doing Dr. Seuss crafts, Dr. Seuss hats, Truffula Trees and puzzles, with fun snacks.
On March 18 the celebration will wrap up with a birthday cake. Drop in at Ludden and make a guess as to how many fish are in the fish bowl, and the person who comes closest to the amount of fish wins a new Dr. Seuss book.
