- Nellie, a 6-year-old Nigerian dwarf goat, is Andover’s harbinger of spring, owner Wanda Coolidge said Thursday afternoon. “Like the famous groundhog, only with Nellie, we know it’s spring when she starts shedding,” she said. Nellie greets customers at Pete’s Hardware at 25 Nevel Road and at the Andover Town Office.
