- Family and friends of the late Josie Armington, who died 14 years ago from cancer, spent Friday putting up dozens of Irish flags around Lovell. Before she died, Josie bought the flags and raised them with permission from Central Maine Power Co. The annual tribute to Josie reminds all in town that spring is close at hand and provides a warm reminder of his mother, said Paul Armington, who is shown with his daughter, Emmajo Armington.
