SALEM TOWNSHIP — A Kingfield woman was cited Wednesday for operating without a license after the car she was driving toward Phillips went off Route 142, Franklin County Sheriff Lt. David Rackliffe said Thursday.
Julia Burdin, 21, was driving a 2000 Nissan Altima and “lost control due to speed, left the road and struck several trees” near Quick Stream Gravel at about 4:46 p.m., he said.
Cpl. Stephen Charles responded to the accident.
Burdin was checked at the scene for neck and head pain by NorthStar Emergency Medical Services personnel. She was not taken to a hospital by an ambulance, Rackliffe said.
Burdin has never had a license, he said.
