- Friends of the Cobbossee Watershed’s annual Spring Nature Day Camp will be held during April school vacation at the YMCA Camp of Maine on Cobbossee Lake, East Winthrop. Two-day sessions will be offered on Monday and Tuesday, April 15 and 16, and Thursday and Friday, April 18 and 19. Both sessions, open to children in grades three to five, will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will include indoor and outdoor activities that focus on the natural world. Ryan Burton will lead in in fishing on the shore of Lake Cobbosseecontee, Cost is $75. Registration forms can be downloaded at www.watershedfriends.com.
