- Retired schoolteacher Jan Bordeau was at the Mexico Public Library with her husband, Arthur, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, signing copies of her first novel, “Harper Haven.” Bordeau said that she brought 12 copies of “Harper Haven” and ended up selling all of them before 4 p.m.
