WILTON — The Planning Board will review applications for two new small businesses at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at the town office.

Travis Nguyen is seeking a permit for a nail salon at 346 Main St., Code Enforcement Officer Paul Montague said. The downtown site is in Bill Fletcher’s building, next to Nancy Merrow’s purple building, he said.

Kenneth Sprague of East Wilton wants to start a woodworking shop at 1361 Route 2 West near the intersection with Gordon Road. It was formerly a fruit stand. Sprague intends to build and sell wooden items, he said.

The board will meet at 6 p.m. April 18 for a site visit on Country Club Road prior to their meeting at 7 p.m. Engineers with Main-Land Development Consultants in Livermore Falls recently began the permitting process for a seven-lot subdivision next to the golf course for Jeff Harris of Harris Golf. Several residents attended the March 18 meeting to hear an initial presentation on the project, he said.
