HARTFORD — March 31 marked the celebration of the resurrection and materialization of Jesus, the Master Teacher and Spiritualism’s “Wayshower,” and the anniversary of Modern Spiritualism.
How significant that both observances should fall on the same day. Jesus lifted the veil between the material world and the spirit world and began his work from the higher side of life. Just as he opened the gates to a higher realm, accessible to all, so did the pioneers of Modern Spiritualism.
The advent of Modern Spiritualism opened even wider the door between the two worlds, the physical world and the spiritual world. Through the work of our pioneers, those in the spirit world were able to express that gospel, that good news, that Jesus came to inform us of, we are all eternal beings. This physical world is but a pathway to a higher, brighter existence.
Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Center is proud to bring a brighter light to this great truth. Church services for the last quarter of the 2012-13 season include several workers visiting in April, May and June.

Saturday, April 20, Mediums Day Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fifteen-minute readings are $15. Morning slots fill up fast. To reserve a time and medium, contact Penny at 207-515-1016. The fair will take place at Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Center, Hartford Town Hall, 1190 Main St.
Sunday, April 21, Zero Balancing class with Cindy Heald, R.N. at 12:30 p.m. at the center at the Hartford Town Hall. The instructor is a Reiki Master who operates a holistic healing practice in Norway, Heald Within.
Zero Balancing is an innovative body-mind system of hands-on therapy developed in the 1970s by Fritz Smith, M.D. A pioneer in the field of integrative medicine, he practiced both osteopathy and medicine, and studied acupuncture before developing Zero Balancing.
Practitioners use comfortable finger pressure and gentle traction to engage body structure and body energy designed to align the physical body. Clients experience deep relaxation, internal organization and improved function. $15 suggested donation.

May 24-26 will be an event-filled weekend with Rev. John Lilek. On May 25 Lilek will conduct a one-day intensive Mediumship Development workshop. Other activities are also being planned for that weekend.
