- Fred Stone and Ralph Arsenault entertain about 40 people at the Patriots Day ceremony at John D. Long American Legion Post No. 58 in Buckfield on Sunday. Lorraine Parsons led a Minute Man race through memorabilia assembled from more than two centuries of war in which Americans lost their lives. The ceremony also honored veterans Robert Berry II, Coleen Violette, Scott Violette, Carlton Newton and Ryan Lafleur, whose names will be on the next plaque.
