- A firefighter sprays water on a woods fire off Rayville Road in Otisfield late Wednesday afternoon. The fire was reported shortly after 4 p.m. Crews from Otisfield, Oxford, Norway, Paris, Casco, Sebago, Bridgton, Mechanic Falls, West Paris, Harrison and Poland worked for more than three hours to extinguish it, Oxford Assistant Chief Ed Adams said. Maine Forest Service rangers were investigating the cause. Attempts to reach Otisfield fire officials for more information were unsuccessful Wednesday night.
